I love my writing life and I love when I am challenged to write more. Like many gifts that I am blessed to have I do not use it enough. These last 2 years I have been fortunate to have a weekly poetry group that I meet with which has really helped me expand my writing. I also have 2 other writing mentors in my life which are pushing me to expand. I have no shortage of things to talk about. In 2017 I published my first poetry book,” Inside Outside” poems by Sue Silver, which is available on Amazon. The photograph on the cover is one of my own with green coloring to it which was done by my wonderful graphic artist Janice Olsen.

I would like to tell you all about my life growing up in the US and New Zealand. How I traveled to Australia got a skiing job there, how terrible I was at waitressing, went to  Hong Kong got a singing job there and on to the US. Yes, I really will tell you all about it.

I also am working on writing a couple of books. One thing I notice though is I need more time to sit and be. That’s a space for me that I seldom take. I am always busy.

Watch this space. I will also share photos of my recent trip to India and the Kumbh Mela with Sai Maa last February. It was great to be in India again. After my program in Allahabad, we went to Varanasi for the dedication of Sai Maa’s ashram. From there my traveling companion and good friend Pam and I went to New Delhi where we visited again Chandni Chowk Market in Old Delhi. This time we went on foot so I got much better photographs. We visited the Jama Masjid Mosque and I was able to take some lovely photographs. On my birthday we went to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal. It was a very special day for me. I love India, it was so wonderful to be able to visit this exciting land once again.
